We Three

Howdy everyone!

Happy Holiday Season! Christmas season is starting to hit with fervor.  Walmart was clogged and there were all sorts of shopping cart jams all over the place. Don't get me started about the post office....

Things of report!
- I tripped an Elder during sports last Monday. fortunately Elder Jennings was a good sport about it.  Elder Jennings has a twin serving in the Seattle Washington Mission! Wayyy cool!
-Sister Nielsen ran into a wall. She looked like she had been in a fight.
-Sitter Rytting was running around barefoot and got a giant blister on the bottom of her foot. She was on crutches all the next day.
Overall, last Monday was awesome and we Sisters showed the Elders who's boss.
- We had the baptism preview for the 7 almost 8 years old on Wednesday. It was so cute to teach them. It makes me miss teaching in Primary. The Elders also showed them the hold the kids would do and dipped them backwards. It was great!
- We were at Dinner at a Members home when we heard the doorbell ring. Upon answering the door we discovered another Family and the Elders had decided to come a Caroling to us. Fun!

-OK: I did something waaaay out of my comfort zone- and I really would rather give a talk in sacrament meeting, or teach a class than do this again.... but it probably will happen again, because all of the companions I have had are all very musically talented.
             We sang in sacrament meeting.
I was TERRIFIED! I was shaking worse than when I gave my farewell talk! We had dinner with our investigators afterwords and Conn (He and his wife are getting baptized soon!) was laughing
about something and later explained that Sister Rytting had turned red, I had turned very pink, and Sister Nielsen acted like she had been doing things like this from birth, which I wouldn't be surprised  if
she has. Man... Ugh...  so scary. We sang and arrangement of "I Know That My Redeemer Lives". It was very pretty.

Also, when Is everyone's birthday? I forget these things.....

Dec 7

Hello one and all! How've you all been?
I have been pretty dandy.  This week has been AWESOME! First of all,
let me just say, if you haven't seen A Savior is Born- go watch it. Or-
I will find you and I will bother you until you do. You can find it at
christmas.mormon.org and there are two other videos there as well that
are wonderful!

So, Sister Nielsen wanted to go do a thing this week and we went and
did said thing. Graveyard Contacting, it is where as missionaries you
go to a graveyard and talk to the people there about the Plan of
Salvation or offer help in any way you can. It is way fun. We met a
couple there who really love Mormons because they raise their kids
right. Hopefully we will get to teach them more! Whooo! But on our way
out we saw two MASSIVE EAGLES! Oh man. They were about from my belly
button to the top of my head size wise and they were sitting less than
10 feet away! I was in so much awe of these creatures.

We also went on exchanges! Guess who are my STL's.... HERMANA OLSEN AND SISTER NIX! Two of the most fabulous people ever. Sister Nix stayed here and Sister Rytting went to Apopka. They were brave to
leave the area in Sister Nielsens and my hands... as well as Sister Nix's. We are all a really goofy bunch, but the area survived and we had rockin awesome lessons. However, on Sunday we found out the Ward boundaries are being changed and we will loose two of our investigators to the Branch. We know the Elders will take good
care of them.

I am so grateful to be out here. One of my Aunts owes me a massive
'told you so.' I wont tell you which one... but she occasionally has
blue hair....She was right!

I hope everyone had a fantabulous Thanksgiving! I know I certainly
did! These Sisters are soooo much fun. We made little turkeys and
stuck them on people's doors. Sooo cute.

We had dinner at two family's homes! Sister B, a recent convert of almost a year, and the H Family. Brother H is a member of the bishopric. He is also a massive prankster. We had pie at their house and Brother Hunter leaned over and told me, "we got this fancy new whipping cream.  It's supposed to be mint flavored." My response, "Really?"
*Unsuspecting Sister Missionary looks at the whip cream a little closer.*
                                                                                                                                              POW!
HE POPPED THE PLATE- AND WHIP CREAM WENT UP MY NOSE! It made a perfect circle. My companions were laughing so hard. Hnggg..... I am going to have to find away to retain the dignity of my calling, but to also
get even. Hmnnnn.... Good thing I am not competitive or anything.

We have this super cute older German lady who was just baptized right before the transfer. She loves to feed us and prays in German. Have you every heard anyone pray in German?! It is fantastic! Ahh, she makes my heart happy.
Have a good week!
