#HASHTAGS and LOLs

Guys, I have a pet peeve. That being said, I strongly dislike text talk. Yeah, u instead of you is loads faster but it makes certain individuals sound unintelligent. Why not take the extra few seconds to add the letters Y and O to make it sound like you speak english? Another thing I have issues with is the response, K. Really? The letter K? Not an ok or even okay typed all the way out? Well, potassium to you too, Mr. Periodic Table of Elements.
Oohh! Another thing I can rant about, #hashtags. What is the point of a hashtag? I do not understand this portion of human madness (I happen to understand quite a bit of human madness). I just don't. If I ever use a hashtag it is because I am being an intentional brat. For anyone who knows me well, hashtags are the butt of a many a joke. I just don't like them. Ewww, LOLs. If someone really laughed out loud everytime we received an lol, we would live in a cackling mad society. I know everytime I get a text from Frankenstein or Ginger and I actually start laughing, people think I'm nuts. "Who is that crazy human laughing like a hyena? She obviously needs professional help because Nat is mentally unstable."

It's a lot more fun to write descriptive text messages, such as

*snickers*
*pounce attack*
It allows for your personality to show through. Yeah, it makes me weirder but it's over rated to be normal. To quote one of my best friends on the matter, "normal is just a setting on a washing machine."
