First Week

So, I've officially been in Florida for a week and have got some pretty interesting tan lines to prove it (I have one from a band-aid.... I've underestimated my tanning ability.... I only wore that band-aid for a day and we had the car). 

Saying bye to Sister O'Hara was tough, but she got an awesome trainer, A few of the other sisters were raving about her. My new companion/trainer is named Sister Christensen and she is adorable. Shorter and I am and she's been out about 8 months. I saw Hermana Olsen and I hugged her! Quite tightly too! 

After a mild mix up with bikes, Sister C and I made our way back to the apartment. However, on the way there we got a phone call from our Zone leaders! Apparently there had been a mix up with the Spanish speaking sisters in the area (they were opening a new area and moving all there stuff) and they didn't have an appartment key. So they ended up crashing with us for the night. Herman Olsen is also training. It was kinda funny having her spend the night. It made me feel like a little kid again. 

While I was unpacking I discovered that my desk was from Narnia. It had all sorts of weird stuff in it -like a case of 32 things of puffy paint, a roll of fun duct tape, an Andrea Bocelli CD, and a rain poncho. (Kaylin, too bad you aren't here. You'd go crazy with the paint.) 

There is a woman who cleans the main office/Club House of the apartment complex and she is trying to learn more about Christ. It has been amazing to interact with her along with her small daughter (named Kaylin). 

Gwen: I accept that I am a poor example of an older sister, but you need to clean the room and KEEP IT CLEAN. Otherwise, you won't be able to go to Disney world. Don't worry, I have to do the exact same thing. 

Max..... What am I supposed to say about your Austen Land addiction problem?

That is the address ALL letters and packages need to go to. It also MUST come through the Postal Service, no Amazon or Fed Ex. Otherwise it could possibly sit there for months.  I love you all so much and thanks for the package! The lotion made me so happy!
