Prayer
Hi again!
I am slightly crunched for time. So, sorry this is a little rushed.
First of all, I just found out that a lady in the ward I am working in
had a close friend move to Ellensburg! Her husband happens to be
working at the University there now.
I don't have much to report, but we had a lesson with Avery on
Saturday. He's an interesting person. He has a pretty good sense of
humor, but he is a deep thinker and asking questions complicated questions.
At the end of the lesson- he prayed. He prayed the first time we met him too, but
this time it was different. It is a wondrous thing to hear someone
pleading to God to know about the direction they need to go. I can
remember that feeling all too well. First in December of 2014 and
again in June right before I left. Avery got his answer. He said he
felt good about pursuing what we taught- and for some reason, he
couldn't stop smiling. He also came to church Sunday and it was
awesome to get to watch him interact with the ward. He was
reading the Book of Mormon during Sacrament Meeting! I felt like a
proud mother hen. It just made me ridiculously happy to watch him
learn.
We went bowling today for District P-Day and I discovered my bowling
skills need refinement. So, I suggested we do trick bowling and it was
pretty hilarious.
Love you all!
