The Price of Conversion: Confessions of an RM

The other day I spent some time with a good friend and we started talking about the future. This lovely lady is notoriously artsy and is in the process of following her creative dream. At that point in the conversation my friend asked me about my creative passions. I was a little ashamed to tell her that I had not even taken time to even try and write anything since returning home at the end of September. Why is that? Answer: I never expected my return home from serving a successful mission in Florida to be the Refiners Fire of sorts. I also never expected to loose the people I did. I never expected Satan and his war for my own soul. Sorry to be a bit over dramatic, but that's what it feels like.  When I talked to my former teaching companion and I asked her, "Do you think Satan is after us?... Ever since our scary experience I feel like he's had it out for us..." To my surprise, my former companion agreed. Now, I'm not saying Satan has a personal vendetta...
